We know that all living things must die, but there is also a concept of eternal life. A life thay continues after death, a new and everlasting life. Is it real? How does it happen?
Traditionally, from a religious perspective, we live eternally after death and after shedding this mortal body and recieving an immortal one. Whether you spend that eternity in paradise, or prison, is up to you and the choices you make in your mortal life. This perspective is not always a popular one.
Another view I have of eternal life is vastly different from the first. In this idea of eternal life, we live forever through the impacts we have had on this world. In essence, you live on in history. Your name and character live eternally due to successful business you created, a disease you cured, a foundation you started, lives you saved, history you made, and so on.
In the same vein as the above idea of eternal life, you might not make a huge impact in the world during your mortal life, but you live eternally through other means. Maybe you live eternally through journals you wrote. Or, maybe you recorded your life through videos you recorded, blogs you wrote, or books written.
